SEATS ARE LIMITED!
Dr Sarah Lantz
Dr Lantz is a writer, university lecturer and researcher, mother and an all-round chemical conscious nut. She has a background in nutrition, public health, environmental health, and specialises in the area of child and youth health and wellbeing. She has published and spoken extensively on the issue of chemicals and kids and authored the best-selling book Chemical Free Kids: Raising Healthy Children in a Toxic World which sold over 2000 copies in the first 5 weeks. Sarah is currently a Post-Doctorate Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and co-director of Chemical Free Kids. Sarah passionately believes in conscious, compassionate parenting and is committed to organic living and developing a sustainable, natural environment for future generations. Sarah has recently commenced writing her second publication. Sarah will explore why our babies are being born pre-polluted, what makes them particularly vulnerable, the vast array of chemicals found in everyday household products, and strategies for living healthier in a toxic world.
Eve Hillary
Eve is known internationally as a health practitioner, author, patient advocate, key note speaker and human rights advocate. Eve is one of the first in Australia to draw national attention to the harmful health effects of pollution with the 1997 national publication of her first best-selling book: Children of a Toxic Harvest. Since then, her many articles have been published in numerous magazines. She has spoken on health and wellness at over 200 seminars and appeared on dozens of TV and radio programs both in Australia and overseas. Eve’s recently released third book, Sarah’s Last Wish: a chilling glimpse into forced medicine, is already attracting excellent reviews. The book reveals the extraordinary story of Sarah, a brave 13-year-old girl, and her family whose terrifying journey through government red tape and a rigid medical system prevented her from receiving appropriate and compassionate care for her rare and fatal cancer. Sarah's acts of incredible bravery and her courageous stand for her right to live and die with dignity inspired her to make a final wish in her last days - a wish so powerful that it has already brought about reforms to the system.
Kristine Matheson
Kristine is a cancer survivor, natural nutritionist, author of 'From Cancer to Wellness - the forgotten secrets', workshop facilitator and health advocate, artist and designer. As an Australian author, Kristine is passionate about the need to treat disease by getting to the cause, together with sharing this information to a worldwide audience. She has experienced chronic fatigue, business stress, and anxiety attacks. Through alternative thinking Kristine has regained her power over these conditions. In 2005 Kristine found a cure for herself for a 'terminal stage IV Melanoma Cancer'. She was cleared of the disease in only a few months, when previously she was told she only had twelve months to live. Kristine was determined not to let this get in the road of her wonderful life, and so set out on a quest to expand her already vast knowledge of the subject, to eventually discover a cure for her condition. She has been in perfect health ever since, and growing younger each day with more vitality and drive. In her step-by-step handbook for beating cancer, Kristine has outlined methodical, easy to use processes. Kristine will be presenting her ground-breaking methods during the Living Chemical Free evening.
